
Unless your name is Mowgli and you live with a pack of wolves you must be aware of something called the World Cup.
The world’s biggest sporting event, with an estimated 715.1 million people watching the 2006 final; the tournament sees 32 teams battle it out for the trophy.
Football as we know it was formalised in England in 1863 when the Laws of the Game were created. Despite this long-standing relationship with the game, we do however seem to be unable to bring home the cup, bar our one victory in 1966 of course.
