Painfully cool: McQ at TheOutnet

The late Alexander McQueen was an absolute fave among Hollywood’s A-List stars, but his diffusion line, McQ is squarely aimed at a younger audience bubbling over with street cred.

Previously the stuff of shopping dreams for Thinpursers like us, selected McQ lines are available at TheOutnet.com at discounted prices that will have you swooning.

The least expensive item in the range – an £18 pair of stretch jersey stirrup legging in flourescent pink is a little far outside my tastes, but the rest of the selection is a treasure trove of summery steals.

I love these cropped linen blend pants in white, orginally £200, now £60. Perfect for the season, and lovely with a set of stunning heels.

Slightly over the £100 mark, but with a sizeable 55% discount, the checked wool-blend dress is playful, cute and comfortable with a little McQueen twist (literally). It’s £110.25.

I’m also a massive fan of the simplicty and sexiness of the zip-front pencil skirts, available in coral, purple, white, colbalt and bright blue.

They’ve each had a 60% discount, and the white (the most versatile of the styles) is now £50.

Check out the whole range for yourself here. But make sure you get in quick – if it’s at The Outnet, it won’t last long!
