As with most Kate Moss/Topshop collections I’ve seen, moments of unadulterated glory pull the range along, while the majority of the content is a retro mess that would only ever look good on Ms Moss herself.

So, her latest collection for the High Street heavy-hitter was released online today, and we’ve taken a gander.

Here are our Top Ten Kate Moss of Topshop pieces – to save you trawling through the multi-coloured feathers and boring blazers. And remember, we’ve taken your Thin Purse into account with our choices!

10. It’s hippy chic, and it’s totally Kate. The Poppy Lace Chiffon Dress, at £70 is perfect for summer weddings and barbecues, in light and flattering chiffon.

9. The grey Open Back Playsuit isn’t super special up front, but the detail on the back is worth a second look. It’s £80 in 100% silk, so the quality is there, but it doesn’t feature higher because of it’s wearability factor – it’s dry clean only, and it’s extremely delicate. You will literally have to carry a cushion around with you to ensure you don’t snag the silk on any rough surfaces.

8. The Lace Up Skinny Jeans are a Kate Moss classic, and they’re beautifully slimming with the extra seam details. They’re in black for £75, and they’ll go with anything!

7. The Sequin Zigzag Dress is interesting. I wouldn’t have thought of a sombre piece like this in a summer collection, but it’s mesh make-up means you won’t overheat, and it’s a cool, flattering design. At £85, it’s something that would completely carry itself as an outfit.

6. Now, these are cute. The Lace Turn Up Shorts, are a tad on the expensive side (for a pair of shorts) at £60, but they’re an outfit-maker with the bold, contrasting black lace on cream lining.

5. The Vintage Bouquet Print Slip, £50, is labelled as lingerie, but if there was ever a completely socially acceptable underwear as outerwear option, this is it. It looks like it could be a cute top, under a cardigan, or over top of a pair of summer shorts. We’d pay £50 if we were planning on wearing it outside the bedroom.

4. It’s price point helps this Jersey Swing T-shirt rank high on our wish-list, at £38, it’s definitely one of the cheaper options in the collection. It is pretty cute in nude, with the funky chain detail on the sleeves.

3. The Lace Back Playsuit is stunning in mushroom, but dry clean only silk means it’s not easy to take care of. But, at £50, it’s not too much of a stretch, and the lace back detail is vintage all over.

2. The Sequin Embroidered Cape is an investment at £70, but boy, it’s quite the stunner. Decorated with a delicate sequin design, it’s a show stopper piece you’ll want to hang on the wall instead of in your wardrobe.

1. The Vintage Floral Maxi Dress, at £100 is the kind of thing you’ll wear *everyday*in summer. It could work with a whole host of different accessories, and the thigh-high split is super sexy. It’s perfect for dates, to dinner with the girls, to days at the beach, to picnic in the park. Yes, it’s £100, but it’s versatile as hell! It’s flattering, and timeless. Winner.
