A Sheer Toast to Summer

A personal favourite from this year’s trends of the season, sheer pastels are fresh off the runway as the fun and flirty pieces we’ve come to love for our garden party go-to. This summer, designers have led the way in showing off frisky twists on looks reminiscent of the traditional English tea dress. Of course, classic florals are still a much loved (need I also say timeless?) summer venture.

Luckily for us, Topshop boasts a selection of sweet summer dresses to suit our needs.  Pieces like this sheer forest flower dress and seamed drop hem dress are guaranteed a compliment or two.

Another favourite is the happy-go-lucky print featured on must-have items.  Fairground glee is a recurring theme, with Shoreditch- based designer Romeo Pires at the forefront of the trend.  This R+P diamond print dress courtesy of Asos is perfect for a stroll along the beach.

Just don’t forget that sheer means sheer, so what you have on underneath will also be seen!
